CoffeeTalks Comeback: A Meaningful Return for Christ’s Young Professionals

The Christ’s Young Professionals marked the meaningful comeback of its CoffeeTalks on June 27, 2026, held at Lloydies Restaurant, Capiz Government & Business Center, with more than 19 participants in attendance. The session served as a platform for both learning and reflection, bringing together young professionals with a shared desire for growth.

Through the inspiring talk of Ms. Cris Del Rosario, Bank Officer II at the BSP Roxas City Branch, participants were reminded that financial literacy is not merely about numbers—it is fundamentally about character. Building strong financial habits requires discipline, wise decision-making, and a deep trust in God as the ultimate provider.

The discussion highlighted the importance of intentional saving, wise budgeting, and responsible debt management, emphasizing that financial choices reflect one’s inner values. By learning to prioritize needs over wants and living within one’s means, individuals can begin to experience true financial peace—not just wealth.

Ultimately, when character is aligned with God’s principles, financial life gains purpose and direction. As the session concluded, participants were encouraged to carry these lessons into their daily lives and to become faithful stewards of the resources entrusted to them.
