A meaningful milestone was celebrated by the BCBP Roxas City Chapter on August 7, 2026, as 36 brothers and sisters officially became full-fledged members after completing their one-year Basic Formation Program. The Commitment Ceremony was held at St. Vincent Ferrer Parish, Cagay, Roxas City.
The celebration began with the First Friday Mass, which the BCBP brothers and sisters faithfully observe as part of their Way of Life. It was a meaningful way to prepare spiritually for the commitment that would follow.
During the Commitment Rites, Bro. Rexam Laguda, Unit Leader of CLP No. 25, presented the newly committed members. They were then endorsed by Mission Head Bro. Joe Frederick Diaz and formally confirmed by Chapter Head Bro. Riann Brillo.
The 36 new members—35 from CLP 25 and one from CLP 23—together with the existing members of BCBP, solemnly recited the Pledge of Commitment. Among the promises they made was their dedication to actively participate in the various activities that embody the BCBP Way of Life. For them, completing the formation program does not mark the end of their journey, but rather the beginning of a deeper commitment to faith, brotherhood, and service.
Adding to the celebration, selected members of CLP 25 shared their personal impressions and experiences throughout their year-long journey. Their stories reflected the friendships, lessons, challenges, and growth they experienced along the way.
Bro. Rotelo Palmes, Regional Council Director of Northern Panay, then shared an inspirational message, encouraging not only the newly committed members but the entire BCBP community to remain faithful to their commitment and continue living out their faith in their families, workplaces, and communities.
The activity concluded with a message from Bro. Joe Frederick Diaz, followed by the Closing Prayer led by Bro. Milbert Malugao, BCLP 25 Secretariat. The evening ended with a simple fellowship, where everyone had the opportunity to celebrate, connect, and welcome the new members into the BCBP family.
For the 36 brothers and sisters, this commitment is more than a ceremony—it is the beginning of a new chapter in their journey with BCBP, walking together in faith, brotherhood, and service.
