One year of faith, fellowship, and bringing Christ into the marketplace! A year of faith, friendship, and service to the Lord is truly worth celebrating!
On September 26, 2026, the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) Mambusao Mission celebrated its first anniversary with a meaningful gathering filled with thanksgiving, fellowship, and renewed commitment to its mission of bringing Christ into the marketplace.
The celebration began with a Thanksgiving Mass at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish Church, presided over by Most Reverend Cyril B. Villareal, Bishop of Kalibo. After the Mass, more than 145 participants gathered at the Magallanes-Lapso Building in Mambusao for the Anniversary Breakfast. Brothers and sisters from the different BCBP chapters and missions, including Roxas City Chapter, Roxas City East Chapter, Estancia Chapter, and Pontevedra Mission, joined the celebration in support of this special milestone.
More than just a breakfast gathering, the occasion was a beautiful opportunity to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and celebrate what God has accomplished in the life of the Mambusao Mission over the past year. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and joy, made even more meaningful by the beautiful songs rendered by the Music Ministry of Roxas City Chapter.

The program opened with a heartfelt welcome from Engr. Riann Brillo, Chapter Head of Roxas City Chapter, who shared these words:
“It is my pleasure to welcome you all as well as we celebrate the First Year Aniiversary of Mambusao Mission. One year may seem like a short time, but this year, we have witnessed the spirit of Unity, Generosity, Friendship, and service. Today we celebrate not only what we have accomplished, but also to the people who have made this journey possible.” “As we celebrate this first milestone, may we continue to grow together, serve with compassion, and remain committed to our mission and vision of bringing Christ into the marketplace and winning the marketplace for Christ.”
His message reminded everyone that the growth of a mission is made possible not only by its accomplishments but, more importantly, by the people who generously give their time, talents, and hearts in service to God and others.
Following the opening message, Mr. Rotelo Palmes, Regional Council Director of Northern Panay, delivered an inspirational message of gratitude, encouragement, and renewed purpose.
In his message:
“On this first anniversary of Mambusao Mission, we give thanks and praise to our Lord for His faithfulness, guidance, and abundant blessings. What began as a mission has grown into a beautiful community of brothers and sisters, united by one purpose, to bring Christ into the marketplace and win the marketplace for Christ.
This first year reminds us that mission grows not only in numbers, but more importantly, through faith, service, commitment, and love. Every servant who gave their time, every family who opened their hearts, and every brother and sister who faithfully answered God’s call, has helped build the foundation of this mission. Today, I would like to warmly welcome and congratulate all our first-timers, your presence here is already a beautiful response in God’s invitation.”
His words highlighted the importance of every individual who has become part of the mission, reminding everyone that each act of service, every welcoming gesture, and every response to God’s invitation contributes to building a stronger community of faith.
Adding to the inspiration of the occasion, Dr. Nathaniel “Apol” Chan, Area Managing Director of Panay Region, shared his message, reflecting on the deeper meaning of the mission’s first year and the importance of continuing the work of evangelization.
In his message:
“One year may seem short but in the life of a mission, one year represents many prayers, many sacrifices, many invitations, many conversations, and most importantly, many opportunities to bring people closer to Jesus.Today, we celebrate not only what has been accomplished but also what God has begun. And when we look at the story of the BCBP Roxas Chapter, we see something beautiful. Roxas always had a heart for mission. You have already given birth to Kalibo Chapter, you have given birth to Estancia Chapter, and Roxas itself has multiplied, giving birth to Roxas East Chapter. That is something worth celebrating, not simply because Roxas has produced new chapters but because it shows a community with evangelistic zeal. Roxas has understood that the gospel is not something we keep for ourselves.”
His message served as a reminder that evangelization is at the heart of the BCBP community. The mission does not end with those who are already part of the brotherhood; rather, it continues through every invitation, every encounter, and every opportunity to share the love of Christ with others.

Of course, an Anniversary Breakfast would not be complete without welcoming new faces! One of the highlights was the Life Sharing session featuring Mr. Hans and Ms. Maria Nena Jacqueline “Kling” Almeida of Roxas City East Chapter. Their testimony of overcoming life’s challenges through prayer, forgiveness, and trust in God inspired the participants. The gathering also welcomed more than 16 new breakfast participants.
As BCBP Mambusao Mission celebrates its first anniversary, we give thanks for God’s faithfulness and the growing spirit of brotherhood, fellowship, and service. May this mission continue to welcome new faces, share inspiring testimonies, and lead more people to encounter Jesus Christ.
One year of God’s grace. One mission united in faith. Countless lives yet to be touched.
Happy 1st Anniversary, BCBP Mambusao Mission!
Onward in faith and service—bringing Christ into the marketplace and winning the marketplace for Christ!
