The BCBP Roxas City Chapter marked its 30th Founding Anniversary with a Grand Breakfast on June 6, 2026, at the Gerry Roxas Foundation Training and Convention Center in Dayao, Roxas City.
The celebration brought together over 237 participants, including 16 newcomers, and was made even more meaningful by the presence of fellow members from the Northern Panay Region—Kalibo Chapter, Estancia Chapter, and Roxas City East Chapter—reflecting a vibrant spirit of fellowship, unity, and shared faith.
Guests were warmly welcomed with smiles and uplifted by the beautiful gathering songs led by the Music Ministry. The program formally began with an opening prayer, followed by the opening message of Engr. Riann Brillo, Roxas City Chapter Head.
In his message, he shared: “In our own journey in the BCBP whether you are old or new in the community, may we will not be like scribes who give only surplus like time, talent and treasure to God but reminded by poor widow who is humble and generous give all his life to our founder Jesus.”

This was followed by a series of inspirational messages from distinguished leaders:
Mr. Rotelo Palmes – RCD Northern Panay, in his message:
“BCBP is not just an organization –it is a covenant journey with the Lord. Each generation is called to carry the flame forward, but burns even brighter for those who will come after us. As we move forward, may this anniversary renew our spirit of mission, deepen our commitment to Christ, and strengthen our unity as brothers and sisters in the Lord. Let us continue to be a people found faithful—not perfect, but faithful.”

Mr. Nathaniel “Apol” Chan – AMD Western Visayas, in his message:
”As we look forward, may we renew our commitment to the mission entrusted to us. Let us continue to form Christian leaders in the marketplace. Let us continue to be men and women of faith, excellence in service. Let us continue to bring Christ wherever he has planted us. Today we celebrate not only our history but our mission. The work is not finish, the Lord still sends us forth. The harvest remains abundant, and the marketplace remains are filled of evangelization. May BCBP Roxas [City] Chapter continue to be alike in the marketplace, a blessing to families and a powerful instrument for the spread of the gospel. Happy Anniversary and may God continue to bless BCBP Roxas Chapter for many years to come.”

Mr. Jayvee De la Fuente – NSD for Mission, in his message:
“Happy 30th anniversary, Roxas City [Chapter]. Truly happy that you are celebrating such a milestone in your community. You have grown so much over the past 30 years. And I wish [that] and pray that in the next 30 years and beyond, your community continues to grow and touch more people in your area of the country. But more than that, I wish that on your own personal level, you continue to grow as disciples of Christ. Because truly, we can only grow our community if we ourselves grow as people, as Christians.”

Mr. Aniceto “Ani” Serrato – BCBP National President, in his message:
“As you celebrate today, I encourage everyone to reflect on the blessings and challenges that shaped your chapter. I know your journey has not always been easy, but through every trial, you have witnessed God’s hands guiding you, strengthen you, and calling each member to serve. And this occasion is a reminder that we are called for more to continue our mission with even greater passion, faith, and love. Thank you for your dedication to service and your unwavering support to one another and to the community. Your steadfast faith and generosity kept the spirit of the BCB Roxas City Chapter alive and thriving.”

As the program progressed, it moved to one of its highlights—the life testimony of Mr. Jug and Judy Gallardo, were both serving as BCBP National Treasurer. Their story revealed how God’s faithfulness carried them through life’s deepest trials—from a serious heart condition and major surgery to marital struggles, career setbacks, and family loss.
Through it all, they demonstrated that faith, prayer, and complete trust in God bring healing, restoration, and strength. Their journey stands as a powerful reminder that every trial, when surrendered to God, becomes a testimony of His grace, provision, and unfailing love.
The celebration concluded with the awarding of Certificates of Recognition and tokens of appreciation to Maria Kydylee Torato, Director and Scriptwriter, and Mr. Reynan Unarce, Editor and Sound Designer of the short film “Hinga,” the Grand Winner of the BCBP Short Film Contest. The film was a collaborative effort of the Northern Panay Chapters during NAC 46 in Cebu. Indeed, the 30th Founding Anniversary of the BCBP Roxas City Chapter was a meaningful celebration of faith, mission, and community—honoring the past while looking forward to a future of continued service and evangelization.
